Privacy Policy

Cold Storage on Wheels ("Cold Storage on Wheels," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through coldstorageonwheels.com, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

When you submit an estimate request, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address (optional), delivery city, and the dates and type of equipment you're requesting. We also automatically log some technical information with each submission (the page you submitted from, the web address, search or ad that first brought you to the site, and your browser's user agent) for troubleshooting and to understand which of our marketing works.

We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site: the pages viewed, taps on our phone number, and estimate requests sent. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and basic device information. It does not receive your name, phone number, or email address. We also keep a small note in your browser (local storage, for up to 90 days) of the web address or ad that brought you here, so it can be sent along with an estimate request. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your estimate request, schedule and fulfill your rental, keep internal business records, and occasionally follow up if we haven't heard back from you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use a third-party email service provider (Mailgun) to send emails on our behalf, including replies to your estimate request and occasional follow-up messages. Mailgun processes your name and email address solely to deliver these messages and does not use your information for its own marketing purposes.

We use Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) to measure how the site is used, as described above.

How we store your information

Submissions are stored in a private database and are not publicly accessible. We retain this information for as long as reasonably necessary for business and recordkeeping purposes.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting info@coldstorageonwheels.com. You can also unsubscribe from any follow-up emails at any time using the link included in those messages. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under California law (including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion), which you can exercise through the same contact.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
